SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping cost are always paid by the buyer unless other arrangements have been made.

For our international customers: We do not offer international shipping at this time.

What shipping methods do you use?

All orders are shipped via UPS or USPS. Sewing Machine Rehab reserves the right to determine the best and most cost effective way to ship a package. If you require a specific carrier or method of shipping, contact us before you purchase an item so that we can verify whether that service will be available to you. Items are packed with the utmost care and the shipping method is determined by the weight of the parcel. 

Please make sure your shipping address is entered correctly at the time of order.  If a package is returned to us with an insufficient or incorrect address, we will make contact with you for re-shipment.  However, due to the additional expense of shipping a second time, we may need to collect for postage.

When will my order ship?

In most cases, in-stock items are shipped within 1-2 business days following payment unless otherwise requested. Orders are processed in the order they are received with most items being mailed  via UPS, USPS First Class Standard or Priority Mail, depending on product type. We strive to get your shipments processed within 1 or 2 business days, but during special promo times, holidays, etc. there may be some additional delays.  Machines are typically sent via UPS Ground but on some occasions we will choose to ship USPS. You will receive a shipping confirmation e-mail when your order has shipped. This confirmation will also include tracking information so you can track your parcel along the way.

NOTE:  Once a package is picked up or delivered by us to the Carrier/Shipping Company we do not have control over it. Carriers/Shipping Companies may advertise a typical delivery time for each service offered, but those delivery times are not guaranteed, and may actually take longer.  We are not privy to shipping time procedures and durations once parcel is placed in the care of the shipping company.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Please allow at least seven days for delivery to US addresses.  Often, packages will arrive sooner than seven days but we can not guarantee that. We strive to be in contact with you regarding your purchase throughout the packing and shipping process; communicating tracking information and any special circumstances surrounding your shipment. Machines are always given a final inspection and sewing test before they are packed so they typically do not ship out the same day as they are ordered.

If you opt for any special services with the Carrier/Shipping Company, we are not privy to shipping time procedures and durations once parcel is placed in the care of the Carrier/Shipping Company.  Parcels delayed by the Carrier/Shipping Company and arriving after the Carrier/Shipping Company time indication are not eligible for refunds, but please feel free to contact the Carrier/Shipping Company to present your case for delivery expectations and their services rendered. 

I live outside the USA, what do I need to know about international shipments?

Currently, we do not ship internationally.

What is your Return Policy?

We stand behind the products we sell. If you have any questions about something you have purchased, let us know soon after you receive your order and we will be happy to assist you.  Items are described as-is, to the best of our ability. Please be sure that you have inspected all available information regarding an item, including any available pictures or videos prior to purchasing. Returns will only be accepted on a case-by-case basis up to 14 days after the item has been delivered and any returns must be approved by Sewing Machine Rehab prior to returning. Instances of buyers remorse, change of mind or financial circumstances are not acceptable reasons for return. Actions involved in returning products (packing, shipping cost) are the sole responsibility of the buyer.  If the buyer is shipping an approved return to Sewing Machine Rehab the buyer is expected to pack the item in the same careful manner in which it was sent, buyer will be responsible for any damage that occurs due to careless packing. Only approved returns will either be given an in-store credit or assessed a 15% restocking fee.  Please include a copy of your order along with any email correspondence, notes or requests (be as specific as possible) to the following email address: jen@sewingmachinerehab.com

Return shipping address will only be provided upon return approval.

What if an item goes on sale a few days after my purchase or a similar item is listed at a lesser price?

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may choose to run a sale! In fairness, any and all promotional discounts are only provided during the allotted dates and / or times in the Eastern Standard Time Zone with no rainchecks available. Machine prices are determined for each individual machine, specifically to include their condition, rarity and what accessories are included in the purchase. Sewing Machine Rehab reserves the right to set the price of each individual machine as they deem fit.   

Do you gift wrap?

All purchases are given extra special attention in packing. Due to the nature of the item (especially machines) gift wrapping per say, is not available. Each item is packed with a personal handwritten note from us and is suitable for unwrapping whether you have purchased it as a gift for someone else or a gift to yourself. If the item is a gift, please let us know before shipping so that we can tailor our handwritten message in the appropriate manner.
